A fast and healthy way to improve life satisfaction is to have Gratitude, Optimism and Significance for the things in your life. Then you can view yourself as a Hero in your life’s journey, and/or you are a Hero to somebody. We call that GOSH! Self-Therapy. These are actionable, concrete thoughts. Our Life x Mind app opens with a Gratitude prompt and log. The next release will contain prompts and logs for Optimism, Significance and how/who for you are a Hero. In a sense, it adds a digital therapeutic component to what is a digital diagnostic device.
In a world of complexity, noise, and cynicism, this extremely simple self-therapy done daily can be transformative and turn on the biology of active longevity. We think it will make a dent in suicidality, addictions, and violence.
