MindX vs. DNA Pharamacogenetic Tests

Our tests are mRNA, not DNA, so we are able to look at the biological activity of the genes, that is driven by genes AND environment, not just at what you inherited. So they are much more informative about biology, diagnosis and treatment

Our RNA tests help with Step 1 what is the diagnosis, and with Step 2 matching people to the right treatments. You can also monitor response to treatment with them, and catch risk early for preventative purposes. Biomarkers change over time with disease evolution and with treatment, so the tests can be repeated as needed.

The DNA testing in psychiatry currently only tells doctors whether a patient is a slow or fast metabolizer of certain medications, so we do know if we should start low dose or need to use higher dose. That is Step 3 in the process. That's all. DNA does not change, so these tests are only done once in your life. They do not match people to medications based on their biology like we do, even though some of their manufacturers try to fudge that in their marketing. So they do not work by themselves, because it does not matter if you are on the right dose of the wrong medication for the wrong diagnosis!

Our key advantage: better diagnosis and treatment
