Actions Speak Louder than Words2022-06-26

Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.

Thomas Jefferson

Understanding, improving, predicting, as well as promoting or preventing behaviors- of self and of others, has tremendous value. It can make the difference between life and death (in the case of suicides or violence), between happiness and misery (in the case of mental health and addictions), between a long and a short life (in the case of physical health and longevity).

In general, external manifestations are more informative and actionable than internal potential. Gene expression biomarkers are better than genetic predisposition, actions and behaviors are better than feelings and thoughts, modifying the environment is better than adapting to it.

We use these insights in our blood biomarker tests, our digital behavioral assessments, and treatment suggestions.

More broadly, it is interesting that as a society we spend more of our time, energy, attention on social-media and storytelling, but deep in our hearts we know that real-world action and deeds are more satisfying and consequential.
