Trauma and Healing2023-01-29

The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong at the broken places.

Ernest Hemingway

Psychological trauma affects the mind and generates stress, acute and chronic. Physical trauma affects the body and generates pain, acute and chronic.

Trauma leads to avoidance, fighting it, and substituting it with other things. It can lead all the way to suicidality, violence, and addictions.

Keeping track of stress, pain, suicidality, and addictions on a daily basis is important in the beginning of the healing process, through journaling and/or the use of an app, such as the one we developed. Get help as needed! Blood tests can make the treatment process more objective, and match you to the right treatments. Afterwards, the constructive ways to heal trauma are to avoid future damage, work hard at getting stronger, and substitute past negatives with present and future positives.

Live. Happier. Longer.
